Built, tested, put into operation an annex to the main building, 780 sq.m. (ferroconcrete piles, concrete block walls, clerestory arched roof made of concrete slabs and covered with ruberoid). A programme of cost reduction was elaborated consisting of the following parts - constant tenders among suppliers; constant material use control in production; constant recalculation and break-even analysis connected with changes in production volumes, changes of costs, etc. Mapped out a detailed schedule of the company value stream, analysed contributions of all the production process parts to a value for a customer, analysed the level of working stocks for the company value stream including production and storage costs. Formed 3 project teams to introduce the lean production, that solved the following problems – determination of real values for customers, a general conception of a product, a contractor design, an order of components, designing of tools, working out of a production plan.
