As an experienced (travel) planner, strong communicator, project and team manager, researcher and a natural networker I’ll make sure to keep your business moving forward while your (international) team stays well connected and your clients receive the professional treatment that they deserve. With a background in communication, media studies and a master in film studies I’ve managed to gain a lot of experience within different fields, due to which I’ve excelled as an independent and efficient planner and organiser, that keeps a strong eye on the team objectives. From years of producing and planning media productions (among which, films, TV series, online commercials etc.) I’ve learnt that there’s always a way and improvisation is key, while at the same time it taught me to work with all sorts of colleagues and clients. Being an all-round worker my journalistic skills were put to use doing (background) research and at the same time I used my background in communication to boost marketing plans. Last, but not least, when spontaneously moving to Spain 3 years ago (a one month Spanish course was the plan), I realised how planning and organising are just simply a part of who I am. Up on arrival I got in touch with all sorts of people with different needs and soon I found myself planning whatever was desired; weddings, corporate celebrations and dinners. Besides that I picked up English teaching, while offering myself as a translator/journalist. Now I’m happy to keep on using all of my skills, but would preferably dedicate myself to online clients, therefore my main focus now is working as a Virtual Assistant.
