I am a Sr. Business Systems Analyst with over 15 years of experience supporting the strategic development of projects and helping to achieve overall company goals and exceed customer expectations. I am passionate about science and analytics with hands-on technical experience with data wrangling and software development. I have some experience in retrieving data from various sources, massage the data, improve machine learning models, automate reporting, and create dashboards to identify trends and insights that can be used for informed decision making. Over the past 5 years, I have expanded my data skill set. I updated my knowledge in the field of probability theory and statistics, took in-depth courses in machine learning and deep learning, programming, SQL and used this knowledge in my projects.
CORE SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Through attending quarterly corporate hands-on meetings, I am well aware of important customer satisfaction metrics including NPS, CSAT, and other customer survey scores and performance indicators. In turn, I have provided a calculation of the customer churn rate, number of new customers, and product market shares for product management meetings. Technologies used: Excel (VBA), Python, and Pandas.
As an early adopter of Python and machine learning enthusiast, I influenced the use of these new technologies in our company, which helped to shorten the product development lifecycle and testing time, decrease costs, and also get started on building advanced ML-based features for detecting security anomalies. Through regular attendance at our corporate technical meetings on Fridays and frequent discussions with our front-end and back-end developers, I gained additional knowledge of best practices in software development and began to fully develop technical and marketing web tools. Based on my research and very positive feedback from Microsoft SQL SSRS beta testers, I recommended integrating the Quest's log management product with SSRS instead of developing our own reporting tool, which significantly reduced development costs and shortened time to release date.
Created a document describing co-sales opportunities for M365 E5 and Quest products to further develop the partnership.
Created an Azure workbook showing which events are already collected using Sentinel and which events can be further collected using the Quest's log management solution. The workbook includes heatmap visualizations and a pivot table summarizing information for each group of events, and several hyperlinks to an auto-opening Azure Monitor window that provides details in a table generated by an auto-run KQL query. My other SQL skills include sub-sеlесtqueries for user path analysis, window functions and common table expressions (CTE) with recursion in PostgreSQL.
Performed cross-sell analysis and fuzzy matching using sales data collected from Siebel, Oracle and Salesforce databases. Data processing in Excel, Python and PostgreSQL. Achievements
Worked with Program Managers to define high-level product roadmap for log management and AD backup & recovery.
Researched and successfully implemented a working prototype of RNN with LSTM on Linux for unsupervised anomaly detection in response to customer requests for UEBA functionality and threat detection. The model breaks down anomaly scores into a human readable array of major factors contributing to the detected anomaly. The model can identify anomalies in data that have hundreds of features.
Technologies used: Python, Tensorflow, Ubuntu, and WSL.
Built fuzzy matching algorithm for detecting non-exact matches of duplicates (company names). The algorithm was used to generate Quest active customer lists augmented by D&B data on F500 companies. It helped drive Fortune 500 marketing and sales campaigns.
Technologies used: Python, FuzzyWuzzy, PostgreSQL, fuzzystrmatch (Levenshtein), and Fuzzy Lookup Add-In for Excel.
Developed an Azure workbook with advanced KQL queries that has been successfully tested with over 50 million log entries by users across multiple Azure accounts. Studied KQL directly with Microsoft ADX (Azure Data Explorer) and KQL (Kusto Query Language) developers.
Technologies used: Azure, Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel workbooks, Kusto Query Language (KQL), and SkyTap.
Identified problems with a decrease in the client base. The newly developed sales strategy resulted in a healthier balance between revenue and customer acquisition and retention rates, allowing for strong cash flows in the future.
