Обязанности:

• Translate engineering-related documents, including blueprints, technical specifications, user manuals, safety instructions, and marketing materials.

  Ensure that translations are accurate, technically precise, and culturally sensitive, adhering to industry standards and client-specific guidelines.

  Utilize translation memory tools and terminology databases to enhance efficiency and consistency.

  Review and edit translations to guarantee high quality and adhere to tight deadlines.

  Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to clarify technical terms and ensure contextual accuracy.

  Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in translation technology, and best practices in language services.

  Occasionally assist in training junior translators or interns.

Требования:

• A university degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field.

  Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience specifically in engineering-related content, with a proven track record in English/Russian or Russian/Chinese translations.

  Fluency in both source and target languages (English/Russian or Russian/Chinese), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Strong understanding of engineering terminology, principles, and practices.

  Proficiency in using CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar.

  Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

  A passion for continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies in the translation industry.
